Game Release: ROAM: Wild Horse Simulator is out on Steam now!
Earlier this fall, I was thrilled to introduce you to ROAM: Wild Horse Simulator. A cute, somewhat silly little game that tackles the “horse game where you actually play as a horse” concept, which is remarkably rare in our niche.
As of November 22nd, after only a few months of solo development, ROAM is now available on Steam for around 5 €/USD!
Since the Demo I tried in September, chipken games has added breeding mechanics, predators, and the option to control all the different horses in your herd. ROAM remains a small project with a pretty straightforward feature list – something I personally find a very good idea for first time solo devs.
I haven’t tried the release version myself, but its user reviews so far are for the most part positive, though several of them mention bugs.
If you’d like to give ROAM: Wild Horse Simulator a try for yourself, check it out right here! And if you run into any technical issues or want to contact the developer, I recommend a look at this post on Steam.
